I practically grew up in the clothing industry—starting out at the age of 16 at the iconic Dash’s Western, in Washington D.C. Then moving onto Dash's Generation Gap, followed by Dash's Designers. From the very first day, I knew this was my true calling. When my family’s four stores in Georgetown on M Street closed in 1987, I already had a solid foundation in men's wear, but I was eager to learn more—especially in the world of custom tailoring. So, I left DC behind and headed to New York, immersing myself in the art of bespoke clothing at the renowned Custom Shop.
Next, I dived into the Big & Tall market, joining Repp Big & Tall stores—one of the most rewarding chapters of my career. There was nothing more fulfilling than helping clients transform their wardrobes and, in turn, their confidence.
This led me to the realm of luxury menswear, where I worked with the crème de la crème—prestigious brands like Brioni, Kiton, Hermes, and Prada. It was here I truly honed my skills as a clothier, learning not just how to design impeccable garments, but how to cultivate lasting relationships with clients—and how to treat (or in some cases, not treat) them with the utmost respect.
After 18 years of hands-on experience across every facet of the industry, I was ready. In 2005, I took the leap and opened my own shop, with a vision to make a lasting impact on the world of men’s fashion—and a commitment to crafting the finest clothing for every client who walks through the door.
